PNC Bank Arts Center

Spending time outdoors in the summer is one of life’s most pleasurable activities.  If you also enjoy summer concerts like I do, then there is no better place than the PNC Bank Arts Center.

The PNC Bank Arts Center, originally called the Garden State Arts Center, was built for $6.75 million and opened on June 12, 1968.  It is located on 55 acres between Telegraph Hill Road and the Garden State Parkway in Holmdel Township right off ofexit 116.  The arts center was built by modernist architect Edward Durell Stone and features an open side amphitheater covered by a 200-foot saucer like roof supported by eight concrete pillars.  The PNC Arts Center is ranked in the top 5 amphitheaters in the country and can entertain up of 17,500 people.

The arts center features approximately 35-45 different concerts each summer running from May through September.  The opening night concert this year, was on May 19, 2018 and featured country superstars Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne and Lanco.  For a complete list of concerts and dates, please visit the Live Nation website at: https://www.livenation.com/venue/KovZpZAEAIIA/pnc-bank-arts-center-events

Here is my assistant Randi Walker and her husband Mark attending the Florida Georgia Line concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in August of 2017.
